Rules & Guidelines[edit | edit source]

Writing Guidelines[edit | edit source]

Truthfulness - False information should be thoroughly excluded from any articles. Intentionally adding false info will be treated as vandalism.

Neutral Writing - Any articles should be written from an unbiased and objective perspective. It is permissible to cite first-person accounts but the goal of writing any articles should be to give a full account of all sides of any events and history that happened.

Templates & Formatting - When possible, articles should use relevant templates for their articles. Such templates are a right-side display listing important information such as leader and population alongside a photo display. It is permissible to use a customized version of an existing template to match your nation. Refer to existing articles for examples of how these templates are used. The articles which must use the right templates are:

  • War Articles -> War Template (example)
  • Nation Articles -> Nation Template (example)
  • Town Articles -> Town Template (example)
  • Player Articles -> Player Template (example)

When in doubt, follow the general formatting other players or nations typically follow.

Coherent Writing - Write articles that make grammatical sense and avoid using non-English languages outside of direct quotes.

Empty Articles - If an article is relatively empty and still being worked on, include that the text is still WIP (work in progress). [example]

Worldbuilding & Lore Rules[edit | edit source]

Reasonable Roleplay - For backstories and lore behind characters which players may wish to include in their roleplayed character, it should make sense within the bounds of what players can roleplay in-game. For example, roleplaying a demi-god that can shoot lightning should be avoided unless you have an in-game ability to summon lightning.

The Supernatural - Supernatural experiences and history is permitted but limited. Magic should be reasonably roleplay-able before considered canon in any lore.

No Rewriting History - Any events or actions that happened in-game and have become written down here should align with what actually happened in terms of roleplay. Some alterations are permitted to record a more coherent story.

Blank Slate - While the default lore for new characters is getting stranded on the tutorial island by the Kraken, players are fully free to deviate from that storyline to create their own origin to their roleplayed character.

Behavior on the Wiki[edit | edit source]

Vandalism - Intentionally destroying or damaging articles is not permitted. Staff reserve the right to take any action against griefing that is appropriate for the scale of damage.
