Tutorial

The Tutorial is an unskippable questline where players learn a few basic mechanics.

Stages 1-2

The Equinox Voyager wrecked ashore after a Kraken attack

You wake up beside the remains of a wrecked ship. The first thing you need to do is talk to the NPC Arthur.

After being tasked with looting wreckage, right-click all barrels that are highlighted. After looting all the barrels, you will have collected the following:

• Musket
• Stone Sword
• Bread x16
• Nomad Armor set

After searching the barrels, return to Arthur. You will be prompted with if you're ready. Regardless of your selected response, the next area will open up for you to explore.

Stages 3-8

Animals make great target practice

After walking down the path, talk to Arthur again. In this stage of the tutorial, you will learn how to use the Musket.

The first task Mason has is to shoot 5 pigs. After killing enough pigs, talk to Mason again.

Next, you will kill 5 cows. Once again, talk to Mason after killing enough cows.

• It is recommended to Left-Click to use the Musket's Scope since it provides extra accuracy

Once you're ready, walk towards the unlocked cave entrance.

Stages 9-10

Entering the cave will summon four zombies that each drop a Nomad Trim Template.

If you die during this stage, you will respawn at the cave entrance.

Once you're ready, exit the other end of the cave.

Stages 11-15

Right-click to obtain the dye color

After talking to Arthur again, you need to collect 4 dye by right-clicking a flower with a color of your choice.

While you only need to collect 4 dyes, you can collect up to 8 in case you change your mind on the colors you want.

After collecting your dye, talk to Arthur. You will be tasked with applying the Nomad Trim Templates and Dye to your current armor.

Walk to the Smithing Table and insert the items to continue the tutorial. Once you wear the newly colored armor, the gates behind the smithing table will open. Talk once again to Arthur.

Stages 16-21

One of these barrels have an item that will allow you to progress through the tutorial.

After talking to Arthur, zombies will begin to swarm you. After killing all the zombies, continue down the path to Arthur standing next to an old Artillery cannon. He will task you with finding gunpowder by entering one of the buildings. Any building with an open door will work.

After entering, you will need to search through one of the barrels. After finding a Compressed Quartz Block, enter the next room.

Talk to Arthur again and he will teach you how to apply a modifier to your stone sword. To apply a modifier, you need to:

• First slot of anvil: Place your tool (stone sword)
• Second slot of anvil: The modifier (in this case, the compressed quartz block)

After applying the modifier, the next room will open up where you will find gunpowder. Leave the building through the door that opens up and then talk to Arthur next to the cannon.

Stage 21

While Arthur removes the leaves from the artillery so that he can fire the cannon, you must defend yourself from the zombies. If you die during this stage, you will respawn close by.

Once all the zombies are killed, Arthur will automatically fire the cannon once you're near him.

Stages 22-23

The artillery cannon clears the fallen tree blocking the path

After shooting the cannon at the broken tree, the path is no longer blocked.

Continue down the path and you'll find Arthur next to a docked ship. After talking to Arthur, enter the ship and escape the island.

Talk to Arthur before going into the ship

Once you enter the ship, you will be teleported to spawn and the tutorial is complete.
