Musket
The Musket is a ranged Weapon popular for its high damage and deadly . While sometimes tricky in tight spaces, Muskets can deal considerable damage from nearby or even 100 blocks away. Blueprints for the Musket can be obtained at the Armory in spawn. It costs 2 iron blocks to craft a Musket with the blueprint.

Notably, the Musket does not cost any ammunition to use.

Musket Accuracy
Close Range
From 1 to 20 blocks distance, Muskets are accurate enough that it is recommended to NOT use a Scope due to the 1.75 second warmup for the Scope.
Long Distance
Past 25 blocks, it is recommended to start using the scope.
Musket Scope
The Scope allows for nearly perfect accuracy but takes an additional 1.75 seconds before the user can shoot.
Bullet Drop
When shooting distant targets, the bullet drop becomes increasingly noticeable. When traveling 250 blocks (1 second), the bullet will have dropped 5 blocks. To counter bullet drop, it is recommended to aim higher for further distances. Since the drop distance caused by gravity is exponential instead of constant, bullet drop is negligible in ranges less than 30 blocks.
Movement
Walking, sprinting, and jumping will all affect the spread of the Musket's bullet. Keep in mind that the higher the spread, the less accurate the shot is.
- Walking: +20% spread
- Running: +300% spread
- Jumping: +250% spread
Weapon Damage
Muskets have a base damage of 25. Where on the body the target is hit and distance away will affect damage. The further away a shot is, its damage will decrease. There is a 50% increase in damage when the target is hit on the head.
Trivia
- The Musket was originally going to be less accurate and deal less damage. Instead, the Musket would have a sister weapon called the Rifle with a lot slower of a reload time in addition to higher accuracy and damage. Instead of having two ranged weapons, the Musket merged with the Rifle and instead made a mix of the two.
- The Musket's original texture did not include any gold.
